Water Baptism
Our next water baptism will be held Friday April 13th at 7:00pm in the Family Center. Those desiring to be baptized must attend one of two identical baptism classes either Sunday April 1st at 11:30am in Room 216 or Wednesday April 11 at 7:00pm in Room 216. Classes for children age 10 and over will be offered at the same times.
State of the Ministry Annual Update
You are invited to join us for this annual “State of the Ministry” update meeting in the Family Center Tuesday April 10th from 7-9pm. Pastor Ken, the board, and the elders will review the previous year of ministry, share the ministry vision for the next year, and give a financial update. If you consider Calvary Spokane to be your home church, this is a meeting you need to attend!
Spring Heart For God Session
The Spring Heart For God Class begins on Monday March 12 at 7pm in the Fellowship Center. While the fall session focused on the basic doctrines of the Christian faith, this eight week spring session will cover the basics of some of the other beliefs such as: Mormonism, Islam, evolution, New Age, and more. The class is open to the public, is free, and doesn’t require registration.
Women's Spring Retreat with Carol Kent
Ladies! Join us May 11 & 12 for a retreat featuring international guest speaker Carol Kent and worship by Sherri Youngward. Carol's message has been featured on Focus on the Family, you won't want to miss this special opportunity. Registration is $50 per person, you can register by turning in a registration form at the Information Center or church office, or register online here. Registrations received after April 22 incur a $20 late registration fee.
Video Upgrade Project
We’ve begun moving forward with the updating of our video system. You can pick up a description of the process for this video system “remodel” at the Information Center. You can support this project both prayerfully and financially. Just designate “video remodel” on your offering, or you can give online here. Pastor Ken’s Radio Program “Matters of the Heart” is back on the radio! You can tune in weekdays at 9:00am and 7:30pm in Spokane on 106.5FM on the American Christian Network. Click here for a listing of other ACN stations in the Pacific Northwest that carry Matters of the Heart.

Issues of Aging Seminar
Calvary Spokane and Partners in Care have teamed up to present a one-day seminar Saturday February 25 addressing topics unique to the senior age group. This free seminar is open to the general public and would be appropriate for any senior, caregiver of seniors, or those seeking to have a better understanding of the challenges seniors face. A list of topics covered is here and includes health, legal, and financial issues. Registration is required, you can register here, or sign up at the Information Center, or call the church office. Lunch will be provided.
Sharing Hope In Crisis Seminar
On May 19, 2012 we will be hosting a "Sharing Hope In Crisis" Seminar through the Billy Graham's Rapid Responder Ministry. This seminar is to all and is designed to equip believers to effectively minister to those experiencing crisis.
